The family's have agreed to take Mr. Dussel in for a few nights while Mr. Kraler and Miep look for another place for him to hide.

These parents must have been very scared about the dwindling food supply. I would have been very weary of bringing him in.

They might of been scared because of the food supply and that there would not be enough food for everybody and that there wouldn't be enough room for him.

They must've have been thinking about how they were going to take care of another person, if they know this man, does he know a lot of things we don't.

I think Mr. Frank would have been alittle worried about the scarce the space, and the riskiness of adding another person.

A new mouth to feed would have been quite aweful to worry about. As well as less space. The simple fact the Mr.Dussle was such a detail oriented man and the fact that he is rather hard to get along with would make it hard to live with him as well

They might have been thinking that they werent going to have enough food to last and feed another person and that they might not have enough room to make a bed for him to sleep in.

Probably thats it to cramped, there rationing the food they already have till Miep and Mr. Kraler bring more. And that to much fighting between them all will give them away.

I think that almost everyone was thinking it wouldn't be too hard, it would only be a few days, but I think that Mr. Van Daan was more concentrated on himself and his food.
