We just started reading the play version of The Diary of Anne Frank. What do you think about what you know so far (about the play, specifically)?

I believe it'd be very hard to have to leave everything behind (relatives, friends, etc.) to go into hiding, and not be able to tell anyone where you are going.

I agree with Rachel that it would be hard to leave your friends would be tragic. This would be tragic because you wouldnt have anyone to talk to accept your parents and that would get annoying

I agree with Rachel, I would be extremely hard having to go through all of that and leaving everyone you love and not knowing where you are going or when you can return to the real world.

Being quiet for so long would be torture to kids of a young age and even to teens and adults. Even if it was for 3 hours it would still be difficult.

It would be hard for me to wake up one morning and be told that I have to put on as many pairs of clothes as I can and grab some personal belonging and have to leave and hide.

It will be hard to life with a anthore familly right next you in the same bed and then you wake up and see the same people you do not know and to share things with them that would be really creepy...

It would be hard to live my life hidden with my family. It would be hard to get away from my brothers when they annoy me.It would be hard to not be able to go outside and breathe fresh air.Sitting all day in a room,this is a hush life for me to live.

I think it would be very hard on a girl of the age of 12 just to drop her whole life and go int hiding. The hardest part for me would be havering to leave all my personal belongings and espeacially loosing all my best friends.

The Holocaust is a tragic event over all but something so close to home can really bring about an almost... well a clearer and more understandable circumstance in our (at least my) mind. I would find it completely unsufferable to loose all the great things I have now. Especially the every-day things I take for granted. My music especially would be almost impossible to leave without. I hate to sound so mean but I wouldn't find it so hard to leave my friends as it would be to never know their fate, or mine for that matter. I would be very scared.

I think it would be extremely hard to leave everything you know for a life of quiet and cramped. I would go insane and get caught fairly quickly
